Nyarko returns to the Club after an illustrious playing career. Patrick was drafted as the seventh overall pick by the Chicago Fire in the 2008 MLS SuperDraft. He made 196 appearances (148 starts) for the Club between 2008-15, scoring 19 goals and dishing out 39 assists. After spending eight seasons with the Fire, Nyarko spent two seasons at D.C. United where he played 40 games (35 starts).
At the international level Nyarko was called up to the Ghana National Team to face Chile. Nyarko made his Ghana debut against Chile on February 29, 2012 at the PPL Park in Chester, Pennsylvania.
Nyarko currently holds a USSF National B Coaching License & a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Virginia Tech.
ASE SCHOOL OF EXCELLENCE SUMMER TECHNICAL AND TECHNIQUE SOCCER CAMP FROM AUGUST 4 - AUGUST 6, 2025.. ALL ENTRANTS AGES 9 - 15
Boys and Girls Grades 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and U9 - U15 are welcome to participate in our 3-day ASE Summer Technical and Technique Soccer Camp. Former Chicago Fire MLS NEXT Academy Coach Henry Aiyenero and Former MLS Professional Player and current MLS Chicago Fire II Coach Patrick Nyarko will lead age-appropriate and small-group technical soccer skills activities. Coaches level up at ASE Technical and Technique camp, while players enjoy a world-class training session. Don’t miss this incredible, fun-filled soccer experience. ASE provides an opportunity for players to be INSPIRE - CHALLENGE - EMPOWER. Activities include Organized Technical and Technique Soccer Skill sessions, Encouraging players to be better at individual 1v1 moves, Quick Decision Making, Passing and Receiving Techniques, and small-side scrimmage competitions. ASE Camp will feature a staff of coaches with experience. ASE, training helps create a soccer culture that is a diverse learning community and allows players to grow and develop a growth mindset toward learning.
ASE, Camp concludes with the mini contest, Best Ball Juggler, Best Ball Dribbler, and World Cup Soccer trivia. All skill levels are welcome. Our focus is to enhance your child's soccer skills to be able to compete and not compare. Whether you want to improve your technical skills or make the MLS NEXT Academy team. Lunch will not be provided for Campers; Campers should bring their lunch/snacks to Camp.
