About Henry Aiyenero
Henry Aiyenero holds a U.S. Soccer Federation "A" coaching license and Canada Soccer Association “B” coaching license. He is the Technical Director and Player Development for Aiyenero School of Excellence (ASE).
Aiyenero is also Chicago Fire FC MLS Next Academy Coach. Aiyenero bring the commitment, energy, and experience necessary to teach players how to be successful on the field. “I am dedicated to helping create a soccer culture that is a diverse learning community and allows players to grow and to develop a growth mindset toward learning.”
Aiyenero, was born in Nigeria and grew up in Canada, played college soccer at Bethel College and went on to play professional soccer for teams in Hong Kong and Brazil. He has a wealth of both playing and coaching experience, most recently having served as the Director of Soccer Operations for Traverse Bay Area Youth Soccer in Traverse City, Michigan for three years.
Prior to joining TBAYS, Aiyenero was the Director of Coaching for Stingers SC in Evergreen, Colorado.
He also was an assistant for the Edgewood College men's and women's teams, was an associate youth director for Middleton Yahara SC (now known as Rush Wisconsin), and was a player/assistant coach for the Madison 56ers men's amateur team in the National Premier Soccer League.
In addition to his USSF "A" license, Aiyenero holds a United Soccer Coaches (USC)Premier License and a USSF National Youth License. He has also served on the coaching staff of the Wisconsin Olympic Development Program and coaching license instructor.
Aiyenero School of Excellence (ASE) is for any player looking to gain a better understanding and the require fundamental skill set for the beautiful game of soccer. We provide services for individuals, groups, and teams.
We want Aiyenero School of Excellence (ASE) players to know “Success comes from knowing that you did your best to become the best you are capable of being.” Aiyenero School of Excellence (ASE) hosts a training environment where all players are inspired, challenged, and empowered. We believe, in order to help develop a player, we must first understand the player. Aiyenero School of Excellence takes great pride in the growth of every player, athlete, and student by building long-lasting relationships one player at a time.
As the Technical Director, Aiyenero will serve as the resource on all coaching and player development aspects within ASE. Some of his specific duties include:
Overseeing all Aiyenero School of Excellence (ASE) training, camps, and tournaments. Reinforcing all player development curriculum and philosophy at all levels
Mentoring many volunteer coaches in the community
Conducting weekly training sessions, individual private training and group team training
